Belgian Coast Hotels, an umbrella organisation of Accor franchise hotels along the Belgian coast, offers a wide range of accommodation for every budget and desire. From simple ibis Budget hotels to the more luxurious Mercure hotels, every guest will find a suitable option.
Belgian Coast Hotels' hotels are known for their beautiful location and offer facilities such as underground parking, bike rental and wellness options, depending on the location. With a focus on both business and leisure stays, they emphasise the convenience of a single point of contact for organising events, from request to billing. The hotels are equipped for a range of activities, including meetings, team building and seminars, supported by meeting rooms with capacity for 6 to 200 people and catering options. Proximity to local attractions and diversity in room styles and facilities make Belgian Coast Hotels an attractive choice for (professional) visitors to the Belgian coast.
Chavalie De Lodder, marketing manager Belgian Coast Hotels: "We set up this organisation about three years ago. In order to support these hotels efficiently and effectively in four departments: sales, marketing, finance and HR. Before, all these hotels functioned as separate entities and then, of course, there is little contact between them. But the Belgian coast is not that big, so we discovered that we are much stronger together than separately. Each hotel retains its own identity, of course, but to address - mainly - the B2B market in a good way, Belgian Coast Hotels is ideal. There is more interaction between the various hotels and we can handle much larger groups. With more facilities and targeted support spread over currently ten hotels, from two to four stars. Something for everyone and therefore an undeniable added value for all concerned."
What also makes this group unique is the fact that they are spread across the entire Belgian coast, from De Panne to Knokke-Heist. "This is certainly a big advantage for hotel guests coming from across the country's borders," Chavalie continues. "We can cater to measure and place groups where they fit best, according to specific wishes and any requirements. Especially for the latter, we noticed the biggest changes after the pandemic a few years ago. People pay attention to a lot more details and customers ultimately want more value for money. Which, of course, is no problem for us at all. Because we operate as a group, we can be much more focused. It is a quality we strive for every day. As an international chain, we can also handle the currently very turbulent - and on the Belgian coast almost completely redrawn - market much better and guarantee continuity. In whatever area."
"In the meantime, we have some other projects in the pipeline. In November this year, we are already starting a second part of our umbrella collaborations: Belgian City Hotels. The first hotel to join this will be the brand new Mövenpick hotel at Brussels Airport. The start of the (phased) opening is planned for autumn 2024. When fully completed, the premium four-star hotel project will comprise 221 hotel rooms, a rooftop restaurant and skylounge, fitness, wellness and meeting rooms. So needless to say, this hotel will be invaluable for Belgian City Hotels' start-up. A real challenge, with an even much more international target group of hotel guests than on the coast, but we are all set," concludes Chavalie De Lodder.
