Waregem, a bustling town in West Flanders, is known for its rich history and cultural events, such as the famous Waregem Koerse. In the middle of this dynamic environment lies Hotel T, a boutique gem that offers its (business) guests a unique blend of comfort and hospitality.
Hotel T combines modern architecture with stylish décor, giving it a contemporary yet warm atmosphere. The 45 rooms are designed with attention to detail, with every element - from the furniture to the lighting - contributing to a sense of relaxation. Guests can choose from four different room types - The Cutie, The Cozy, The Homey and The Roomy - each equipped with just about everything hotel guests, both business and leisure, need.
A stay at Hotel T is not complete without a visit to its own Bar T, where breakfast is served in the morning and an exquisite and very extensive brunch every Sunday. By the way, non-hotel guests are also welcome. Moreover, there is a wonderful ambience in the evening. A hotel guest or visitor can then enjoy delicious snacks. The matching drinks menu completes the culinary experience.
Tine Van Canneyt, owner of Hotel T: "After a year, the breakfasts and brunches, both for hotel guests and people from the region, are already going very well. Only in the evening people still have to find us a bit. Hotel guests find the bar easily, of course, but residents of Waregem and the surrounding area have yet to discover Bar T for the most part. You have to go through the corridor and past the reception. Apparently that's still a bit of a barrier. But we are working hard on that and word of mouth does the rest."
Hotel T offers more than just comfortable rooms and delicious food. Guests can make use of a range of facilities designed to make their stay as pleasant as possible. For example, there is a massage studio, infrared room, swimming pool and beautiful city garden for those who want to start their day energetically or end their day relaxed. "The fully equipped meeting and event rooms are also very much appreciated by our business travellers," Tine continues. "In fact, this is one of the reasons why I initially started Hotel T. At that time, there wasn't much to find for business travellers in Waregem, while there is actually quite a lot of industry - including international companies - here. So there is quite a need for a place where meetings and overnight stays can be held in peace - and with all the facilities available. And we have already achieved that specific goal, because we are currently running mainly on people visiting Waregem for business purposes. That means we have a very high occupancy rate during the week."
"All in all, after barely a year, we can be quite satisfied with the evolution we went through. We do remain vigilant about our service levels; in the hospitality world, little is more important than that. We also adapt our offer according to the customer's wishes. If possible, we like to work on a bespoke basis. But then when it comes to breakfast, we still find that most customers like to stick to the buffet format and do not necessarily wish to be served à la carte. Finally, you know what we learn the most from and often just enjoy? Something as simple as the guest book. Always fun to browse through and see the occasional point of improvement suggested. It is and remains a very good source of information," concludes Tine Van Canneyt.
