Revor supplies Belgian mattresses and box springs for hotel industry

What started as a mattress boutique in Kuurne in 1972 is today a major player and manufacturer of mattresses and box springs for the retail and hospitality sectors, among others. Revor focuses on craftsmanship, expertise and quality, for every price range. Today, they are the preferred supplier of mattresses for numerous hotels and holiday parks. From the holiday homes of Center Parcs to the Ritz and Cheval Blanc in Paris.

Revor Bedding is part of the Revor Group, together with the brands Styldecor and Jaritex by Revor. They also produce under white and private labels. The company started as a mattress boutique in the Kortrijk region and was taken over at the turn of the century by entrepreneur Jan Maes, who has expertise and knowledge of the mattress industry. He built the company into what it is today, with quality mattresses and box springs sold worldwide through specialist shops, furniture retailers and online. "With Revor Bedding, we are very strong in Belgium and the Netherlands. In retail, we are active as far as China," says Aaron Soenens, project & export sales at Revor. "We have about 250 employees, spread across the headquarters in Kuurne and an additional production site in Hungary. All mattresses and box springs for the hotel industry are developed and produced in Belgium. In Hungary, we make the box springs for retail."

In addition to a standard offering, Revor Bedding puts a strong focus on customisation. For Center Parcs and for Radisson hotels in Europe, among others, they sat down with the chains to develop the suitable mattress according to the predefined requirements and price. "Then we look at the number of springs per square metre, height, cover layers, firmness and comfort of the mattress. Foam, latex, viscose ... everything is possible," Aaron explains. "Our catalogue for the hotel industry is currently called Contract. It is divided into the Comfort, Premium and Royal Hotel Collection. From there, we start from a product to a complete set, tailored to the customer. Whether that is in the low-end or high-end segment. We think about what fits within the hotel concept."

Revor may be a local manufacturer in the mattress world, but that does not mean they compromise on quality and innovation. For instance, they meet the required safety standards, including for fire safety, and have the necessary certificates for comfort. "Our mattresses are not likely to pit or sag," Aaron explains. "In addition, we attach great importance to sustainability. For instance, we have a bronze score within the Ecovadis label. As a smaller player, we can be quite proud of that, because we are on the right track to evolve towards a higher score. Our focus on circularity undoubtedly plays a role in this. In that area, we are one of the frontrunners in the Benelux and worldwide."

Finally, Revor guarantees excellent service. "It has to, because our customers include several large hotel groups such as, for example, C-Hotels and Different Hotels in Belgium, but also Radisson Hotel Group and Centerparks for Europe and Milling in Denmark. Recently, we did Beach Palace in Blankenberge. Whether this is a big or small player, we put service first. For example, the delivery of a recent project had to be done in 19 times. For that fragmented delivery, we then draw up a flawless schedule. Reliability and quality are at the heart of our story, both in terms of our products and service.
