"We have been working with Hotel Harmony for two generations and over the years we were allowed to furnish several rooms in terms of window decoration," adds general manager Kaat Bekaert. "They have given us full confidence in the choice of fabrics and finishes. In one of the rooms, for instance, there is a large picture of a colourful parrot behind the bed. For the curtains, we chose a fabric with small parrots in the same playful shades on a solid undertone. Because the length of the fabric did not match the height of the windows, we finished these curtains at the bottom with a wide turquoise velour border. This gives the curtains more cachet and adds stylish elegance to the room. Furthermore, we matched the plaid and cushions on the bed to the blue of the parrot."

The parrot room is not the only one Arido took care of. "In certain rooms, the wooden beams are visible, so we chose warm colours and fabrics for a harmonious whole. Furthermore, we installed electric wooden blinds in the breakfast room. This way you maintain the view to the outside and still have enough privacy. The black wood matches the other black accents in the room. In the lounge, we provided semi-transparent curtains for a cosy decoration. In all rooms, the curtains are blackout," says Kaat.
