Professional hotel cleaning requires specific expertise and knowledge. "This is why our future cleaning employees first undergo training at the Group-f Hospitality Academy, where they acquire the necessary skills to excel in their jobs," says Stefanie Van Steenlandt, responsible for Quality & Education.
In addition to extensive experience in office, corporate and aircraft cleaning, Group-f has specialised in the art of professional hotel cleaning. This field requires not only specific expertise and knowledge, but also a deep understanding of the unique standards and expectations within the hotel industry. For example, when guests arrive at a hotel, they expect not only a warm welcome, but also an impeccably clean environment that directly contributes to their comfort and satisfaction. Group-f has the teams and expertise to meet these expectations to create an unforgettable guest experience.
"Our candidates for the position of hotel cleaning employee all go through an intensive two-week training programme at our Group-f Hospitality Academy, which focuses on hands-on training in a real hotel," says Stefanie Van Steenlandt.
The training begins with an introduction to Group-f's core values, focusing on quality, hospitality and experience. The theoretical part then trains participants in the latest cleaning techniques and products, while practical demonstrations allow direct and concrete application of this knowledge.
"In addition, we pay great attention to developing social skills, as we believe that friendly and professional interaction with hotel guests and colleagues is invaluable. After two weeks of training in the Group-f Hospitality Academy, participants are finally evaluated. Then they receive a final report and diploma, and are fully ready to start working." continues Van Steenlandt.
Group-f's commitment to quality goes beyond cleaning. "We strive to establish a lasting partnership with hotel managers, with the aim of ensuring that their facilities are always in top condition. By working with our team of well-trained cleaning staff, managers can always rely on consistent performance and attention to every detail. Something guests are sure to appreciate," Van Steenlandt explains.
Group-f ensures continuity of service even in unforeseen circumstances. This allows managers to fully focus on creating an exceptional guest experience.
The Group-f Hospitality Academy, with branches in Antwerp and Brussels, is known for an innovative approach to training and development. "In regions such as Bruges and on the coast, we offer the 'train-the-trainer' programme. In this HERO training, experienced trainers train new employees in line with the highest standards of our Academy. This programme allows us to support hotels, especially during peak periods, and continue to strive for excellence in everything we do," Van Steenlandt said.
Group-f is proud of its leading role in the Belgian hospitality sector and is determined to further strengthen this position with a continued focus on innovation, quality and training.
