Brustor is a Belgian, family-owned company that has grown over the years into an internationally strong player in the sun protection market.

More than 50 years of experience

In 1965, Louis Brutsaert started his own company in tarpaulins and home awnings. The company under the name L. Brutsaert built a solid foundation, with all the knowledge and experience in-house, the Brustor brand was launched in 1997. We have grown very fast with Brustor in recent years, in 2011 we launched the patio covers with slatted roof, which we call Outdoor Living. That gave a boost to our business and the production site became too small.

So in 2013, we built a completely new company site on a 50,000 m² site with its own production facility, warehouse and office building in Gullegem, West Flanders, where we produce articulated screens, veranda awnings, screens and terrace coverings. Top products require a well-oiled machine park capable of handling state-of-the-art production and assembly techniques. Thanks to our own powder coating, sawmill, confection, assembly and inspection department, the entire production process is carried out in-house, ensuring 100% Belgian design and manufacture! Powered by technically skilled personnel, we guarantee high productivity. Thanks to our fully automated warehouse, we efficiently manage our stock and supply our production lines.
