Gervi, the very beginning...

In 1985, Gervi opened its doors at Nijverheidslaan in Maasmechelen. The focus was on wellness products such as spas and saunas. Letting you enjoy carefree wellness at home... That became our goal!

In 1998, the company was acquired and expanded by Rony Nijs, father of current managing director Marjolein Nijs. With brands such as KLAFS (sauna), HotSpring (spa) and Infraworld (infrared cabins), Gervi offers an exclusive wellness offering that in recent years has been gradually extended to fitness (Technogym), infrared cabins, swimspas (Endless Pools), garden furniture (DEDON) and bbqs.

A team of +/- 50 employees spread across 8 showrooms in Flanders, today guarantees the ultimate advice on Lifestyle, Wellness, and Outdoor Living solutions.

Regular suppliers

From the beginning, Gervi deliberately and selectively chose well-known wellness brands. In 1985, Gervi released the first HotSpring Spa to Belgium and thus pioneered the Belgian market. At that time, the idea of having a bath in the garden was still very new. Therefore, Gervi laid a garden to with baths to offer customers the opportunity to use the spa's to discover and test. The exclusive wellness offer was complete with German saunas and steam baths from KLAFS.

In recent years, the range has gradually expanded to include fitness (Technogym), infrared cabins (Infraworld), swim spas (Riptide), garden furniture (DEDON) and BBQs. Each new brand and product was subjected to a comprehensive quality test.

At 2006 Gervi moved for the 2nd time in its existence. This time to its current location along the Rijksweg in Maasmechelen. The new showroom, with large test garden, was unique in its kind and to this day is one of the most beautiful, inspiring wellness shops in Belgium.

In 2000, it opened Gervi Leuven, the 2nd Gervi shop, opened its doors on the Aarschotsesteenweg in Wilsele. Gervi Hasselt launched in 2010. In 2012, Gervi Leuven moved to a brand new shop a few kilometres away. In January 2013, the 4th Gervi shop in Sint-Martens-Latem a reality. A new showroom opened in June 2018 in Gistel and in September 2018 in Antwerp, putting Gervi on the map in every Flemish province. With 6 shops, a team of +/- 40 employees, 30 years of experience and still the same and well-known brands such as HotSpring, Infraworld, and KLAFS, Gervi is known as the wellness specialist par excellence.

In 2019, Gervi officially opened its 7th showroom in Maasmechelen, Gervi Outdoor. This new showroom focuses on people who want to give their outdoor comfort a solid boost. You can find luxury garden furniture and accessories from top brands such as Flexform, Kettal, Roda, Dedon, and many more. In addition, you can test 3 different swimspas in the spacious experience garden.

Shop-in-Shop

In early 2023, Gervi proudly opened an eighth showroom: a Shop-in-Shop concept in Villa Romana at Eupen.
Here, too, the focus is on Wellness solutions such as HotSpring spas, infrared cabins and saunas. Despite the limited space, we managed to maximise a Lifestyle solutions for visitors. With Eupen added, Gervi is optimally spread across the whole of Flanders. Be sure to visit our Shop-in-Shop and the rest of Villa Romana discover!

Also in the future, your satisfaction our top priority. To this end, our employees are trained annually and our showrooms are constantly renewed. Our product range will also continue to evolve in order to always offer you the latest in wellness at home to be able to offer.
