After Thomas Dieben started Becurious in 1999, he began his studies at the Hotelschool The Hague in September 2000. After Thomas successfully completed his studies, he spared no effort to build Becurious into a leading online marketing and web design agency. From the Amsterdam office, the first steps were taken towards a Hotel Content Management System as the basis of effective hotel websites.
As a specialised hotel web design agency, Becurious has become the partner of choice for hotels and hotel groups over the past decades. "In 2017, we added online marketing services to our service offering to generate more ROI," says Thomas. "To offer hotel website services in a more international perspective, in 2018 we launched Porter, which stands for Premium Hotel Website Design. With this additional service, we provide specific website services to hotels, based on design templates we develop ourselves."
With a small team, Becurious goes full steam ahead to achieve greatness. "Within our office, we have all the expertise in-house for the technical work of web design, front-end development, web development and online hotel marketing. We also engage a wide network of external partners for copywriting, photography, design, booking systems and social media. That mix of internal and external talent ensures that we can offer the very best service to every hotel client, allowing them to focus fully on building successful guest relationships."
Thomas is always curious about the latest developments in hotel marketing and internet technology. "Through my studies and extensive professional experience, I have accumulated extensive knowledge in digital marketing, project management and hotel technology," he indicates. "This knowledge is extremely useful in helping hotels and hotel groups achieve their strategic marketing goals.
