Komoder offers the ideal massage chair for every wellness area

Komoder specialises in innovative massage chairs. They can be an important addition to the wellness offer of hotels or wellness centres. Sil Kremer, owner of Sento
Spa & Health Club in Amsterdam, talks about her experiences with the massage chairs. 

"We are a complete and holistic Health Club in the heart of Amsterdam," interjects Sil Kremer. "So we focus on the total health of our members and combine sports and wellness." Those who become members of the luxury club get personal guidance in the gym, may participate in group classes and get access to the swimming pool and spa facilities, among other things. Even a healthy breakfast is included. Previously, the Spa & Health Club had a hydromassage bed. However, this did not meet expectations. "We therefore started looking for an alternative, as we felt it was important to offer such a product to our customers. We also offer manual massages, but this is a nice addition that fits our complete picture."

With Komoder, the contact was immediately good. Sil: "Based on the positive reviews, we ended up with this company. Coincidentally, they were also looking for a location where buyers could experience their massage chairs in real life. In consultation, we therefore bought one chair and also put up an additional chair as a showcase for Komoder." When choosing the chair, it was especially important to Kremer that the chair provides a full-body massage, but also that the massage chair is lumber-proof. "The good advice from Komoder was very pleasant, as there are many different models and options. For example, we had the seats fitted with a moisture-repellent fabric in consultation. The spa area of the club also has a sauna and jacuzzi, so it was important that the chair could withstand a hot and humid environment. Komoder always considers which massage chair is best suited to the location. We ended up choosing a model that is in the mid-range in terms of investment." 

In 10 years, the massage chairs have been changed several times. "At our place, the chairs are used seven days a week. Some customers use the chair a few times a week. So there is wear and tear, besides, sometimes we chose a newer model. In both cases, Komoder collects the chairs and puts them back. All in all, we are very satisfied, it is a nice addition to our offer. People have a strong need to recharge and to do something good for their health. In the massage chair, they can relax completely for a while."
