Brussels is about to introduce a new culinary addition to its vibrant gastronomic scene. On 2 September, Era will open its doors, a restaurant where culinary tradition and innovation blend seamlessly to create a unique and dynamic dining experience.

A harmonious fusion of old and new

Era embodies a vision where the ancient and present worlds come together in every detail of the restaurant. From the clothing of the staff to the music, a mix of classical orchestral music with electronic twists, and the interior with impressive high ceilings and a generous staircase - everything contributes to an atmosphere that is both familiar and surprising.

Traditional basics with a modern twist

At Era, you can have both breakfast and dinner. The menu is inspired by classic French and European cuisine, enriched with modern influences. Chef Yonatan Cohen works closely with high-quality local suppliers and uses his own stock of home-made ingredients. This combination results in a menu that is both traditional and innovative. Think of dishes like the signature steak tartare with cheese garum, fermented chilli, finished with bone marrow, hollandaise and caviar.

His philosophy is based on respect for tradition combined with a drive for creativity and discovery. Yonatan is determined to make every meal an unforgettable experience. His mission is simple: surprise and amaze guests with every dish and, with a pinch of perfectionism, encourage a constant evolution of his culinary works of art. At Chef Cohen, you won't be served the same dish twice. "My goal for Era is that when a guest leaves, they immediately think of their next visit. By changing the menu regularly, we arouse curiosity and ensure that guests are presented with an entirely new culinary experience. Thanks to Era's consistent service, atmosphere and dishes, we aim to gain the trust of our clientele and thus build a loyal community."

Located in the new Hotel Fleur De Ville, Era will officially open its doors on 2 September.
